FAQ
Q: What’s the difference between 6K grinding and 8K grinding?
A: The grinding speed. The speed of 6K is 600 turns/min, while 8K is 500 turns/min.
Q: How wide/long can be done? How about the range of sheets’ thickness you can do?
A: The widest sheet can be done is 1250mm, and 4.3m is the longest one we can do. The thickness is around 0.28-2.0mm.
Q: Is it any difference among different series? Would the cost be different?
A: Grinding grade 304 sheets would be easier than grade 201, but cost a quarter higher than grade 201.
Q: Is polishing related to thickness?
A: No, it’s just related to materials.
Q: What things will be added in during the grinding process?
A: Iron powder & acid.
Q: Does it mean grind faster and better?
A: No. Being faster will cause scratch lines.
Q: Does it spend same time in grinding among different series?
A: No. Grade 201 sheets take 20mins while grade 304 sheets take 25mins.
Q: How many sheets can be grinded in one hour?
A: About 20 pieces.
Q: How hot is it when drying?
A: 4000W.
Q: How often would change the rough and fine grinding heads?
A: Rough grinding heads change every day, fine grinding heads change when they’re broken.
Q: Are the rough grinding heads same with the fine ones?
A: No.
Q: Do we use different concentration of potion when grinding different series sheets? Why do you need to put some iron powder? Any function?
A: Yes. Concentration of potion for grinding grade 304 would be higher. Iron powder makes sheets finer when grinding.
Q: Why will cause some scratch lines on the sheet?
A: Because something drops off when grinding.
Q: What will be caused if put too much water when grinding sheets?
A: It makes the grinding heads too soft.
Q: How many grinding heads for rough grinding and fine grinding process?
A: 5 groups for rough grinding, 8 groups for fine grinding; every group is 2 lines while 1 line includes 4 grinding heads.
Q: What’s the effect for the rough grinding and fine grinding?
A: Rough grinding makes sheets lighter, and fine grinding makes it finer.
Q: Is the effect of 2B grinding same with BA grinding?
A: BA surface is brighter than 2B one.
Q: Is it possible to polish to 10K surface?
A: No problem. Grinding 8k stronger can make it.
Q: Why cause sand holes and peeling lines on the sheet?
A: It’s the problem from original materials.
