Embossing Process
1. Shear(if needed)
2. Clean (by using water)
3. Emboss (there are 2 rolls in the machine, one’s surface is smooth and another one has patterns.
4. Tension leaving（flatting the sheets through tension.)
5. Polish (if needed)
6. Wrap the rolls with films for protecting.
FAQ
Q: Why use water to clean stainless steel before embossing?
A: It can reduce the loss of roll when embossing.
Q: Why the roll is wrapped around film when not used?
A: To avoid rusting.
Q: How about the depth of embossing?
A: 3C to 4C in general, the deepest one can be reached to 7C.
Q: How about the speed and pressure?
A: It depends on materials and patterns. For example, working pressure and roll loss reach upmost when embossing grade 201, and grade 304 is the most easily-embossed one.
Q: How wide can we process?
A: From 400mm to 1270mm.
Q: How thick can we process?
A: From 0.4mm to 1.5mm
Q: Would the stainless steel be crushed when embossed?
A: No, as long as the thickness over 0.4mm.
Q: What is the minimum quantity if we want to make an order?
A: At least 1 ton.
Q: Can you process based on stainless steel sheet?
A: No, just can be processed by coil.
